Spring Education Group seeks an Early Childhood Education Manager to lead literacy initiatives across IK12 schools, develop resources, and deliver professional learning for teachers and school leaders. This remote role requires periodic travel to California for in-person sessions and collaboration with regional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Literacy, Reading Specialist, or related field.
• Demonstrated expertise in early literacy instruction, phonics-based approaches.
• Kindergarten teaching or instructional leadership experience preferred.
• Experience designing and delivering professional learning for adults (virtual and in-person).
• Strong communication and coaching skills across multiple sites and regions.
• Ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects in diverse school environments.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the lead expert on early childhood literacy for the IK12 Education Team.
• Identify and update phonics-based literacy resources aligned with the Links to Learning curriculum.
• Promote literacy resources across IK12 schools, leveraging regional directors, on-campus leader mentors, and instructional mentor teachers.
• Review, develop, and pilot new literacy resources over time.
• Create and deliver onboarding and ongoing professional development for teachers and school leaders — both in-person and online.
• Guide and coordinate the work of four IK12 ECE Leader Mentors.
• Collaborate with regional directors and principals to select and manage a cohort of 30 Links to Learning Instructional Mentor Teachers (IMTs).
• Support the implementation of Academic Pre-K, launching in 2026-27 in ~15 pre-kindergarten classrooms.
• Facilitate a cohort of Academic Pre-K mentor teachers.
