Belcan is assisting a key aerospace client by locating a remote ECAD Library Engineer with Siemens Xpedition expertise. A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field and 5–10 years of experience are required.

The role focuses on creating accurate CAD symbols and models, loading attributes into enterprise systems, interpreting drawings, and ensuring data quality for fabrication and testing. Competitive pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field.
• 5–10 years of relevant electrical engineering experience.
• Ability to work in a structured, process-driven engineering environment.
• Experience with Mentor Xpedition EDM Library.

Responsibilities

• Create accurate component models in electronic CAD systems per company standards.
• Create CAD symbols and models for PCB schematic design and load attributes into enterprise systems.
• Interpret drawings/specs to produce symbols and models including land patterns.
• Self-check work to meet part requirements and guidelines.
• Familiarity with Windows file structures and configurations.
• Ensure CAD symbols/models meet customer requirements for fabrication and testing.
