Job summary

Siemens EDA is seeking a technically strong professional to join our multi-disciplinary team in Huntsville. You will develop design methodologies to exploit Siemens EDA Xpedition products, and you will consult with customers to articulate how the tool suite helps maximize performance in leading-edge designs.

The candidate will identify gaps in customer flows, propose improvements to increase design capability, and work with our EBS division on advanced development and CLS tools to drive

Qualifications

• BS degree in engineering; MS preferred.
• Strong PCB hardware development knowledge.
• Experience with Siemens EDA Xpedition tools.
• Scripting and programming skills (Python, VBScript, Java).
• Excellent written and verbal communication; self-motivated.
• Ability to lead technically and guide new recruits.

Responsibilities

• Develop design methodologies to exploit and expand Siemens EDA Xpedition tool usage.
• Consult with customers to articulate how the tool suite improves design performance.
• Identify gaps in customers' design flows and propose improvements to increase efficiency and Time-To-Market.
• Coordinate with the EBS product division on advanced development, customizations and CLS apps.
• Support the overall System Practice and mentor new team members.
