Job summary

The Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation seeks an Eastern Regional Development Director to lead major gifts fundraising from a remote location within the Eastern U.S. This is a national remote role requiring frequent travel and weekend work to meet fundraising goals.

You will manage a portfolio of 100–120 major donors, cultivate and solicit gifts including bequests, and collaborate with Development staff and Regional Directors to advance conservation priorities and events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and at least five years of experience in development, financial services, estate planning, or a related field.
• Experience or training in estate and trust administration, estate planning, or planned giving is preferred.
