Job summary

Parexel is seeking an Early Clinical Scientist in Salt Lake City to coordinate the design, planning and execution of early phase trials with the Clinical Director and cross-functional teams. The ECS oversees trials across programs, ensuring excellence in execution and data validity while managing internal and external team performance.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing CROs from the Sponsor side for Ph1 trials.
• Experience with Clinical Trial Management and Trial Master File systems.
• Authoring Protocol Concepts.
• Facilitating a Trial Team with cross functional partners.
• Managing multiple projects concurrently.
• Reviewing protocol, ICF, IB, CSR, biomarker processes and risk plans.
• Proficient in Microsoft Teams collaboration.
• Understanding of clinical development from planning to regulatory submission.
• Ability to rapidly learn therapies across areas.
• Ability to manage complex operations under tight timelines.
• Scientific, medical and/or safety writing and reporting capability.
• Strong collaboration, leadership and communication skills.
• Knowledge of GCP, ICH guidelines and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate design, planning and execution of early phase trials with Clinical Director.
• Oversee trials across programs/therapeutic areas; ensure data validity.
• Conduct real-time oversight to identify safety and data issues.
• Co-author clinical sections of protocols and trial documents.
• Manage teams and timelines; escalate risks and resolve issues.
• Liaise with regulatory, clinical supplies, data managers and statisticians.
