Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field.
• Active, unrestricted behavioral health license in the state of residence.
• 2+ years of clinical experience after master's degree.
• Familiarity with EAP services, including intake, referrals, and crisis protocols.
• Designated home workspace with secure high-speed internet.

Responsibilities

• Take calls from a queue in a call center environment.
• Perform risk assessments and screen for self-harm, suicidality, and co-morbidities.
• Conduct telephonic consultations with individual members.
• Develop action plans using Solution-Focused Consultation and Motivational Interviewing.
• Guide individuals to benefits and resources provided by employer, community, and cross-carrier vendors.
• Coordinate crisis management and high-risk consultations.
• Serve as National Point of Contact for non-licensed EAP Specialists.
• Mentor peers and provide guidance to less experienced staff.
