Job summary

CVS Health’s Aetna Mental Well-being is seeking an EAP Clinical Counselor to provide on-demand, single-session mental health support via phone, video, or chat, with confidentiality and real-time documentation. This is a fully remote, full-time role in the USA with a Wednesday–Sunday night shift.

The ideal candidate holds a master’s degree in behavioral health counseling and a valid licensed clinical credential.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of crisis intervention experience.
• Valid unrestricted independent behavioral health clinical license per state regulations; e.g., LPC, LMFT, LCSW, LMHC.
• 24x7x365 call center coverage may be required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver on-demand single-session consultations, clinical assessments, safety plans, triage, and informational services.
• Leverage technology platforms to connect members to the right solutions at the right time.
• Support members via phone, video, or chat with personalized care.
• Type and document information accurately and in real time.
• Maintain accurate documentation that meets regulatory and risk management requirements.
