Job summary

Spectrum.Life is hiring a proactive, fully accredited Psychotherapist/Counsellor to provide access to professional services and oversee others engaged in the service. The role requires in-the-moment support, risk assessment, crisis containment, and signposting to resources.

After three weeks of paid training, the schedule will be 3×10-hour shifts or 4×10-hour shifts, with one weekend day fixed. Fully remote from the UK or Ireland.

Qualifications

• Must hold a recognised qualification in Counselling or Psychotherapy.
• Full accreditation with a recognised professional body (e.g. BACP, IACP, PSI, UKCP, BABCP, etc.).
• Experience delivering remote therapeutic services via phone or chat.

Responsibilities

• Carry out screening and needs assessments for clients accessing EAP services.
• Conduct risk assessments including suicide/self-harm and crisis containment.
• Provide immediate telephone crisis counselling and short-term interventions.
• Be the first point of contact for clients via phone, SMS, livechat and WhatsApp.
• Maintain accurate clinical records in digital case management systems.
