Job summary

aoncology is seeking a Remote Coding Auditor focused on evaluating E/M audits and related tasks. You will summarize results, communicate outcomes, and handle follow-up education as needed. You will manage email requests, ticket reviews, and contribute to government audits when requested.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of E/M coding experience in a medical office, and CPC/CCS certification is preferred. Proficiency in MS Office is expected, and overtime may be required with notice.

Qualifications

• 2+ years coding experience with E/M in a medical office.
• CPC and/or CCS certifications are preferred or considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide coding support for physicians.
• Provide coding support for Claims Resolution Specialists. Report trends and issues to management.
• Attend seminars and training sessions and report changes to the Manager/Compliance Officer.
• Maintain and ensure the confidentiality of all patient and employee information.
• Complete E/M audits accurately and in a timely manner, and assist in training new staff.
