Job summary

XTIVIA, Inc. seeks an experienced Dynamics 365 Project Operations Functional Consultant for remote work within the United States. The role focuses on translating business needs into effective Project Operations solutions, enabling successful implementations and client outcomes.

You will guide requirements gathering, configuration, testing, go-live, and post-implementation support, while collaborating with clients and delivery teams. Occasional travel up to 30% is required.

Qualifications

• Equivalent professional experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
• 5+ years of experience as a Functional Consultant or in a similar client-facing consulting role.
• Hands-on experience implementing and configuring Microsoft Dynamics 365 Project Operations.
• Strong understanding of project-based business processes including planning, budgeting, time/expense, and billing.

Responsibilities

• Partner with clients to gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
• Translate requirements into effective Microsoft Dynamics 365 Project Operations solutions.
• Configure and implement Dynamics 365 Project Operations functionality (planning, resources, budgeting, forecasting, time/expense, costing, billing, financial tracking).
• Lead client discovery sessions and workshops to map current processes and recommend best practices.
• Guide clients through process design and configuration decisions for project-based operations.
• Collaborate with technical teams to support integrations between Dynamics 365 Project Operations and other apps.
• Develop functional specifications, process docs, configuration docs, and user guides.
• Lead functional testing, UAT, and solution validation.
• Identify and troubleshoot functional issues during deployment.
• Deliver end-user training and support client adoption during go-live and stabilization.
• Partner with project managers to support successful project execution.
