Job summary

XTIVIA is seeking an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Project Operations Functional Consultant to support remote clients across the United States, with a preference for Reston, VA area. The role partners with clients to translate business requirements into Dynamics 365 Project Operations solutions, guides implementations, and helps optimize project planning, resource management, time and expense processes, billing, and project visibility.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Functional Consultant or in a client-facing role.
• Hands-on experience implementing and configuring Dynamics 365 Project Operations.
• Understand project-based business processes: planning, resource management, budgeting, time/expense, billing.
• Experience leading client discovery, design, configuration, testing and go-live.
• Experience with integrations between Dynamics 365 Project Operations and other enterprise apps.
• Strong communication and collaboration with business and technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Partner with clients to gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
• Translate requirements into Dynamics 365 Project Operations solutions.
• Configure and implement Dynamics 365 Project Operations functionality (planning, resources, budgeting/forecasting, time/expense, costing, billing, financial tracking).
• Lead client discovery sessions and workshops; identify needs and recommend best practices.
• Guide design and configuration decisions for project-based operations.
• Collaborate with technical consultants, developers, and solution architects for integrations.
• Develop functional specs, process docs, configuration docs, and user guides.
• Lead functional testing, UAT, and solution validation.
• Provide end-user training and post-go-live support.
• Support project execution and client outcomes with the delivery team.
