Job summary

Saf-Gard Safety Shoe Company is seeking a skilled Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Programmer in Greensboro, NC. You will develop, customize, integrate, and support BC solutions to improve processes and efficiency.

You will work with AL, BC extensions, and APIs, collaborating across IT and business teams to deliver scalable ERP improvements. The role supports hybrid/remote options and offers comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central/Navision.
• Strong AL programming and Business Central development.
• Experience developing BC extensions and custom functionality.
• Understanding of BC architecture, tables, pages, reports, codeunits, queries, and APIs.
• Experience with SQL Server and relational databases.
• Experience developing or consuming REST APIs and web services.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to translate business processes into technical solutions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Dynamics 365 Business Central applications and extensions using AL.
• Customize Business Central functionality to meet business requirements.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy new features, reports, pages, workflows, and integrations.
• Create and maintain Business Central extensions following Microsoft practices.
• Integrate Business Central with third-party apps using APIs, web services, OData, and REST/SOAP.
• Analyze requirements and translate into scalable solutions.
• Troubleshoot issues and implement solutions.
• Support data migration, upgrades, and version transitions.
• Develop reports using Business Central and related Microsoft technologies.
• Collaborate with analysts, functional consultants, end users, and IT teams.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, documentation, and deployment.
• Maintain technical docs for customizations and architecture.
• Stay current with BC releases, tools, and best practices.
