Job summary

The American Red Cross North Texas Region is seeking a Duty Officer to document incoming disaster notifications, assign RC Respond records, and manage all DAT calls. You will identify available DAT responders, dispatch teams to ensure proper resourcing, and activate Disaster Health Services, Disaster Mental Health, and Disaster Spiritual Care when requested.

This on-site role requires maintaining ongoing communication with responders, reporting movement statuses, and coordinating with Chapter

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating disaster response in fast-paced environments.
• Familiarity with RC Respond or similar incident management systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Document incoming disaster notifications and assign the Duty Officer role.
• Manage all DAT calls and activities in RC Respond.
• Identify available DAT responders and dispatch teams.
• Activate Disaster Health Services, Disaster Mental Health, Disaster Spiritual Care, and Public Affairs when requested.
• Maintain ongoing communication with responders and update call records.
• Register for shifts and maintain RC Respond Duty Officer user access.
