Job summary

LER TechForce, LLC. in Dearborn, MI is seeking a CAE Engineer Durability to support our client with vehicle structure analyses, finite element simulations and durability predictions.

You will lead system design specification analysis, build and modify FE models, correlate CAE with physical tests, collaborate across design, CAE, and manufacturing teams, and develop new capabilities for improved prediction and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical engineering or related field.
• Engineering degree with coursework in finite element methods.
• Experience in CAE and structural analysis.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead system design specification analysis and documentation.
• Create and modify finite element models to predict vehicle structure performance.
• Develop new analytical capabilities for better prediction and testing.
• Participate in global forums to share procedures and simulation methods.
• Coordinate with Design, CAE, Digital Innovation, Suppliers, and Manufacturing.
• Produce and evaluate solutions to improve design quality and cost.
• Interpret CAE results and correlate with physical tests.
• Correlate CAE models with physical testing results.
