Job summary

LER TechForce, LLC. seeks a CAE Engineer Durability in Dearborn, MI to perform finite element studies and validate exterior vehicle structures. You will lead analysis of exterior components and document results for the engineering team.

The role requires FE model creation/modification, correlation with physical tests, and collaboration with Design, CAE, and Manufacturing to deliver robust solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline.
• Coursework in finite element methods is desirable.
• Strong independent and collaborative work skills.
• Ability to summarize technical work to cross-functional teams.
• Excellent self-learning and analytical abilities.
• Experience with CAE and FE simulations is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Perform FE-based studies to validate exterior vehicle structures.
• Lead design analysis and documentation of exterior system components.
• Create/modify FE models to predict structure performance.
• Develop analytical capabilities for better prediction and testing.
• Participate in meetings to share new procedures and simulations.
• Correlate CAE models with physical test results.
