Cognizant is seeking a seasoned Drupal Architect to define and govern enterprise Drupal solutions, ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performing digital experiences. You will lead architecture discussions, collaborate with stakeholders, and drive modernization initiatives across multi-site platforms.

With 10+ years in IT and 5+ years in Drupal architecture, you will guide teams, manage releases, and shape platform strategies in a dynamic, client-facing environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in IT with 5+ years leading Drupal architecture and enterprise platforms.
• Expertise with Drupal 9, 10 and 11, custom modules, and integrations.
• Hands-on with ACSF and enterprise-scale Drupal ecosystems.
• Deep multisite architecture, deployment strategies, governance, and cloud-hosted Drupal.
• Experience leading technical teams as a Solution/Technical Lead engaging with clients.
• Knowledge of CI/CD, release management, and modern software delivery.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving.
• Nice-to-have: Acquia Cloud, Acquia Site Studio, headless Drupal with modern front-ends.

Responsibilities

• Define and govern end-to-end Drupal architecture for enterprise and multisite platforms.
• Lead technical design discussions and guide development teams with best practices.
• Translate requirements into scalable solutions, roadmaps, and platform strategies.
• Drive architecture reviews, code reviews, and governance for security and scalability.
• Collaborate across cross-functional teams for delivery, modernization, and releases.
