Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Drupal Architect to define and govern enterprise Drupal solutions that deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing digital experiences. You will work with customers, stakeholders, architects, developers, QA, and delivery leaders to drive platform implementations and modernization.

This remote role is open to qualified applicants in the United States. You will lead architecture discussions, multisite deployments, and ACSF/Acquia integrations while ensuring governance,

Qualifications

• 10+ years of IT experience with 5+ years leading Drupal architecture and enterprise platforms.
• Strong expertise with Drupal 9, 10, and 11 architecture, development, modules, and integrations.
• Hands-on experience with ACSF and enterprise-scale Drupal ecosystems.
• Deep understanding of multisite deployment, governance, and cloud-hosted Drupal environments.
• Experience leading technical teams and engaging with client stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Define and govern end-to-end Drupal architecture for enterprise platforms.
• Lead technical design discussions and guide development teams.
• Translate requirements into scalable Drupal solutions, roadmaps, and platform strategies.
• Drive architecture reviews, code reviews, and governance for security and maintainability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support delivery and modernization.
