Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Medicinal Chemistry or closely related field is required.
• 4–6 years of post-doctoral or industry drug-discovery experience.
• Proven expertise in synthetic organic and medicinal chemistry.
• Hands-on experience with biochemical and cellular assays for target validation.
• Strong pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamics knowledge and drug metabolism understanding.
• Proficient in data analysis software and scientific literature databases.
• Excellent scientific writing and remote collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a virtual team.

Responsibilities

• Design, synthesize, and characterize novel small molecules with therapeutic potential.
• Perform in vitro and in vivo studies to assess efficacy and preliminary PK properties.
• Identify and validate new drug targets via literature review and experimental validation.
• Collaborate remotely with CROs, academic partners, and other R&D teams.
• Analyze data, interpret results, and generate hypotheses for further work.
• Prepare scientific reports, presentations, and contribute to patent filings.
• Keep up-to-date with advances in drug discovery technologies and methods.
• Maintain detailed laboratory records following best practices.
