Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Drug and Alcohol Compliance Coordinator to ensure compliance with Federal FMCSA/DOT regulations and state laws.

The role acts as the subject matter expert for the drug and alcohol program, guiding policy interpretation and handling complex transactions with high accuracy. The position supports pre- and post-employment processes in a fast-paced environment and requires strong attention to detail, communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Two (2) years or more in functional service area (e.g. Separations, Benefits, Leaves, Global Mobility, Payroll, ER / LR, etc.) required.
• Two (2) years or more relevant work experience (i.e. processing mass data uploads, payroll, organizational changes, etc.) required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office environment intermediate required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with applicable Federal (FMCSA, DOT) and State regulations and Company policies.
• Serve as subject matter expert for the drug and alcohol program, providing guidance and policy interpretation; completing complex transactions.
• Identify, analyze and resolve critical issues with accuracy, accountability and reliability.
• Work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple program transactions.
• Maintain knowledge of DOT/FMCSA requirements and ensure ongoing compliance.
