Job summary

Gulf Winds International, Inc. is seeking a Driver Recruiter to attract and qualify professional truck drivers, with a focus on owner-operators and intermodal experience.

You will develop market-specific recruiting strategies and manage the candidate pipeline from first contact through onboarding. Collaborate with Operations and Marketing/Drive teams to align capacity needs, market competitiveness, and retention goals while promoting our culture and delivering a positive candidate experience.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of truck driver recruiting experience required.
• Experience with owner-operator recruitment preferred.
• Knowledge of FMCSA/DOT requirements preferred.
• Intermodal/drayage or transportation recruiting experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop market-specific recruiting strategies to maintain a robust pipeline of qualified drivers.
• Manage full-cycle recruiting: source, screen, interview, run reports, document, and schedule drug screens.
• Leverage Tenstreet and other platforms to track, process, and qualify candidates.
• Utilize social media, advertising, and recruiting events to expand driver leads and applications.
• Partner with Operations to align hiring with capacity needs and retention goals.
• Deliver a positive candidate experience with timely communication and professionalism.
