Job summary

Vay in Las Vegas is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to support readiness and uptime of Remotely-Operated Vehicles (ROV) and telestations fleet. You will perform ordinary and extraordinary maintenance, diagnose issues, and coordinate with engineering teams to ensure safe on-the-road operation.

The role requires hands-on experience with vehicle systems, HV drivetrains, CAN/LIN, Linux-based platforms, and OEM diagnostics.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of experience as vehicle technician.
Extensive knowledge of methods, techniques, parts, tools, and materials used in vehicle maintenance and repair.
Diagnostic troubleshooting experience with OEM systems; experience with HV systems and hybrid drivetrains, CAN/LIN, HVAC, cooling, chassis, and suspension.
Ability to operate and troubleshoot Linux-based systems.

Responsibilities

Configure, set up, repair, maintain, diagnose and sign off vehicles and tele-stations for road use.
Respond promptly to breakdowns or malfunctions; keep detailed maintenance records and support continuous improvement.
Coordinate external repairs with body shops and workshops; ensure timely, quality service.
Maintain a clean, organized workshop; assist with inventory of spare parts and coordination with buyers.
Keep vehicle status and documents up to date; ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
