Job summary

TekSynap is seeking a Drafter to support US Air Force Air Mobility Command Base Infrastructure modernization. You will develop and maintain detailed technical drawings and as-built documentation for the Base Area Network, including rack elevations, pathway diagrams, fiber routing layouts, and network topology drawings.

The role requires 5 years of drafting experience, active Secret clearance, and proficiency with AutoCAD and Microsoft Visio.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in drafting or related field.
• Active Secret clearance required.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Microsoft Visio for technical drawings.
• Experience developing floor plans, rack elevations, and network topology drawings.
• Ability to interpret field redlines and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed technical drawings and as-built docs for BAN.
• Produce rack elevations, pathway diagrams, fiber routing layouts, floor plans, and network topology drawings per design packages.
• Update redline drawings during installation and cutover to reflect deployed environment.
