Job summary

Quadrant, Inc. seeks a Telecommunications Design Drafter in Washington, DC to develop and maintain telecom drawings using AutoCAD and Visio within a secure multi-building government environment. You will translate field data into precise engineering drawings and support modernization efforts.

The role requires TS/SCI clearance, strong attention to detail, and collaboration with Engineers and field staff to ensure accuracy across multiple project phases.

Qualifications

• Telecommunications Design Drafter/AutoCAD experience required.
• TS/SCI clearance required.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD for telecom drawings.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Visio for diagrams and layouts.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel for schedules and tracking.
• Experience producing and maintaining technical drawings for telecom, cabling, or network infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Support modernization of enterprise voice, data, and telecom infrastructure in a secure government environment.
• Develop and maintain technical drawings using AutoCAD and Visio; document existing infra.
• Create and revise floor plans, telecom layouts, pathways, rack elevations, and cable routing diagrams.
• Translate field notes and redlines into accurate AutoCAD and Visio drawings.
• Maintain drawing version control and document management processes.
• Coordinate with engineers, PMs, and field technicians to resolve missing or conflicting data.
