Job summary

The Obama Foundation is seeking a Pipeline Management Analyst to support the Prospect Research team from Chicago. This remote role focuses on providing data and system support to frontline fundraisers, fulfilling research requests, briefing materials for events and campus tours, and collaborating on pipeline initiatives.

You will work directly with the Director, Prospect Research & Portfolio Insights, handling donor research, capacity ratings, and portfolio-building tasks to strengthen major

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of donor research or related field experience.
• Proficiency with research techniques and vendors such as iWave and LexisNexis preferred.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-changing environment while juggling a high volume of work.
• Ability to analyze and interpret large data sets and uncover trends.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills; able to work independently and in a team.
• Salesforce experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Mid-Level Giving: conduct donor research, provide capacity ratings and profiles for new five-figure prospects, and collaborate with fundraisers on moves to Major Gifts.
• Event/Tour Support: provide timely background information for events and campus tours attended by Foundation stakeholders.
• Media Monitoring and Tracking: establish and formalize a system for regular donor news updates to teams.
• Reputational Vetting: lead monthly risk assessment and management for donors and prospects.
• Prospect Identification: perform pipeline-building searches using internal and external data sources.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
