Job summary

Palo Alto Networks seeks a Domain Consultant for SOC Transformation to own Cortex-based security solutions for customers worldwide. You’ll define technical solutions and evangelize our AI-powered security platform, leading PoVs and demonstrations that prove value across SIEM/SOAR/XDR realms.

You will collaborate with sales teams, advise on roadmap alignment, and guide customers through complex deployments while traveling for in-person engagements as needed.

Qualifications

• 6+ years experience in Security Operations or pre‑sales/sales engineering within SIEM, SOAR, SOC, and/or XDR/EDR environments.
• IBM QRadar design, deployment, and/or pre‑sales experience highly desirable.
• Experience in working with customers, problem solving, and a can‑do attitude.
• Solid understanding of Security Operations Center processes and workflows.
• Advanced knowledge of SIEM and/or SOAR solutions.
• Python scripting experience is a plus.
• This is a field sales position with travel requirements; discuss specifics with the recruiter.
• Proficient in English.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with account teams to recommend and develop customer solutions within your specialization.
• Present to customers as our expert at all levels in the customer hierarchy.
• As the main technical point of contact for Cortex, respond to RFIs/RFPs effectively.
• Lead and support customer demonstrations showcasing our value proposition.
• Scope and lead PoV projects to ensure technical win in opportunities.
• Drive high technical validation and PoV win rates in your area.
• Discuss product alignment with customer requirements and differentiation.
• Architect solutions to strengthen and simplify customer security posture.
