Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker is seeking a Domain Architect to work remotely within our Corporate Information Technology team. You will engage stakeholders, provide technical and functional direction, and oversee design and implementation across a portfolio of solutions in the domain.

You will translate business needs into technical capabilities, collaborate with business relationships, assess make-vs-buy options, and document high-level designs while ensuring security and architectural alignment

Qualifications

• Engage with business and IT stakeholders to translate domain needs into technical concepts.
• Assess and document high-level design, standards, and architectural patterns.

Responsibilities

• Translates business domain understanding into technical capabilities for architects and development teams.
• Collaborate with relationship managers and stakeholders to understand requirements, identify gaps, and define solutions.
• Research market options and advise Make vs Buy to meet needs.
• Support documentation of high-level designs for solutions.
• Define effort and skills required to implement solutions.
• Ensure work scope is controlled and changes are managed.
• Conduct application scans and risk reviews to validate privacy, security, and risk policies.
• Assess current architectures and recommend more effective solutions.
• Guide on leveraging technology to solve business problems.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture to shape guardrails, standards and patterns.
• Align solutions with Enterprise Architecture principles.
