Job summary

TrustedQA, Inc. is seeking a Test Engineer to support a DoD program. The role focuses on software testing, verification, and validation with emphasis on traceability and testability. Remote work is offered, and familiarity with SDLC processes is essential.

The ideal candidate will conduct manual and automated testing, develop test cases, and document results while maintaining high quality standards in a fast-paced setting. Security clearance is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years IT experience with a BS in computer science.
• Experience with manual and automated testing, including test case development and execution.
• Experience identifying defects and documenting them clearly.
• Experience testing web-based, client/server, or cloud-hosted apps.
• Active or interim Secret Clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Perform software inspection, testing, verification, and validation.
• Develop operating criteria to ensure software quality, traceability and testability.
• Document and review specifications, materials, tools, techniques and methodologies.
• Collaborate with team members throughout the SDLC and ensure test standards are met.
• Act as a self-starter and team-player in a fast-paced environment.
