Job summary

Frontier Strategies is seeking a Software Integration Engineer for a fully remote role. You will lead integration and deployment of Entellitrak-based systems using Java/JEE and SQL Server, supporting DoD Health IT programs.

The position requires DoD RMF/STIG compliance, agile practices, and strong problem-solving skills across government-facing environments. Collaboration with cross‑functional teams and occasional after-hours deployments are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years IT experience including system integration and interfaces.
• Health IT/DoD experience with DoD Agile processes.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, develop, integrate, test, deploy, and sustain software solutions.
• Develop and maintain system interfaces, databases, scripts, and APIs.
• Support Entellitrak and Java/JEE applications with SQL Server and related products.
• Apply DoD Agile practices including backlog refinement, sprint planning, and reviews.
• Investigate and resolve production issues and perform root-cause analysis.
