Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a computing field is preferred.
• 3+ years of professional software development experience required.
• Strong object-oriented programming and modern software practices.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and web-based applications.
• Proficient in C#, .NET and SQL Server, plus modern front-end tech.

Responsibilities

• Develop application functionality using C#, .NET, SQL Server, React, Redux, JavaScript, and related web technologies.
• Build and maintain responsive, user-focused web interfaces using React, Redux, JavaScript, and modern front-end practices.
• Develop and maintain backend services, APIs, business logic, data access components, and integrations using C# and .NET.
• Design, write, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL Server queries, stored procedures, and database functionality.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and integrations between components and external systems.
• Deploy, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain application components within Microsoft Azure.
• Collaborate with system engineers, requirements analysts, government stakeholders, and other developers to translate requirements into solutions.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, documentation, and sustainment.
• Analyze existing applications and code to identify defects, performance issues, tech debt, and modernization opportunities.
• Write clean, maintainable, secure, and well-documented code following standards.
• Develop and execute unit, integration, regression, and functional tests to validate capabilities.
• Troubleshoot application and production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum development activities: sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, demos, retrospectives.
• Use source control, issue tracking, and CI/CD tools to support efficient development processes.
