Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton seeks a Network Architect to design, deploy, and support DoD hybrid network and security architectures. You will help develop enterprise-wide infrastructure, troubleshoot complex issues, and enhance security, reliability, and availability of critical networks.

You will work with routing and switching protocols (BGP, IS-IS, OSPF, MPLS, NAT flows) and collaborate with senior leadership. A Secret clearance is required and HS diploma or GED is mandatory.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience designing, deploying, and supporting network and security architectures in DoD hybrid environments with Zero Trust.
• 2+ years of experience implementing and configuring network segmentation or micro segmentation solutions, including SDN/SD-WAN, container networking, or virtualization platforms.
• 2+ years of experience documenting complex network and security architectures, procedures, and troubleshooting workflows, including Zero Trust Network Access implementations and detailed documentation of BGP policy behavior, NGFW IDS/IPS configurations, or NAT and SNAT translation flows.
• 2+ years of experience with security, routing, and switching protocols, including BGP, IS-IS, OSPF, MPLS, LDP, RSVP, VPLS, STP, or L3VPNs.
• Secret clearance.
• HS diploma or GED

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and support network and security architectures within DoD hybrid environments.
• Develop enterprise-wide infrastructure design, troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues, and increase security, reliability, and availability of critical networks.
• Guide modernization and optimization of DoD networks using diverse vendors and cloud networks.
