Job summary

Leidos seeks an experienced Material Planning Manager to lead material planning and supply chain execution for defense programs. This remote role will coordinate with Program Management, Engineering, Procurement, and Supply Chain leadership, maintaining program schedules and material readiness.

The role requires US citizenship with the ability to obtain Secret clearance, and previous experience in government contracting or complex programs. Travel to Reston, VA, and Huntsville, AL is possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 5+ years of relevant experience; 2+ years leading teams.
• US Citizenship required with ability to obtain Secret clearance.
• Experience in material planning, supply chain or procurement in government contracting or complex programs.
• Strong leadership and matrixed organization experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of material planners (~11 direct reports) and manage performance.
• Oversee material planning to align with program schedules and customer deliverables.
• Ensure effective execution of material requirements across multiple programs.
• Interface between Material Planning and Program Management, Engineering, Procurement, and Supply Chain leadership.
