Job summary

LMI is seeking a Cyber Architect to support an Army program focused on modernizing platform infrastructure with secure, scalable, and cloud-enabled systems. You will act as the principal cybersecurity advisor to the ISSM, System Owners, and engineering teams.

Responsibilities include RMF artifacts, eMASS, NIST SP 800-53 transition support, and continuous monitoring. The role requires DoD cloud security experience (AWS GovCloud, Azure IL5/IL6) and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Active Secret security clearance required.
• 10+ years in cybersecurity engineering, information assurance, RMF, or secure systems operations.
• Strong communication skills for presenting complex concepts.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary custodian of the RMF package within eMASS.
• Prepare and maintain RMF artifacts (SSP, SAR, Continuous Monitoring Strategy).
• Lead evidence validation for NIST SP 800-53 Rev. 4 to Rev. 5 transitions.
• Develop and track POA&Ms in eMASS and ticketing systems.
• Collaborate with System Owners, Cloud Architects, and System Engineers on remediation timelines and risk statements.
• Review non-compliance closures and evidence before ISSM/AO submission.
• Assess impact of cyber tasks on cARMY AWS architecture and cloud boundaries.
• Review STIGs and SRGs using STIG Viewer and automated tooling.
• Support GitLab CI/CD by integrating vulnerability analysis into DevSecOps workflows.
• Oversee continuous monitoring and vulnerability scanning using ACAS and related tools.
• Maintain cybersecurity dashboards and monitor incident responses and change approvals.
