Job summary

Actalent is actively interviewing for a Documentation Specialist to support a global manufacturing client on a part-time, temporary project. The role focuses on standardizing Work Instructions into a new global quality template and migrating over 2,000 WIs while preserving content integrity.

This remote-first position requires an onsite first day to collect equipment and complete system training, with Tucker, GA as the location for the on-site portion.

Qualifications

• 1+ year in documentation support, data entry or admin roles.
• 1+ year in a laboratory or manufacturing setting.
• Strong attention to detail and consistency across high-volume work.
• Proficiency in Word styles, formatting and tables.
• Ability to manage repetitive tasks independently and meet productivity goals.
• Strong written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manually transfer content from existing Work Instructions into the new global template.
• Ensure formatting, headings, tables, and metadata align with template requirements.
• Identify and correct minor formatting issues while preserving content intent.
• Track document status and flag missing or unclear source information.
• Follow document naming, version control and quality guidelines.
• Communicate questions or exceptions to the project lead.
