Job summary

RTX Corporation seeks a DMSMS Governance & Operating Framework Engineering Lead to drive enterprise DMSMS management, reduce supplier risk, and address obsolescence with a standardized framework.

The role defines escalation processes, aligns with EO 14415, SD 22, SD 26, and partners with engineering, supply chain, quality, and programs to ensure readiness and resilience across development, production, and sustainment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related STEM discipline is required.
• Minimum ten years in leadership roles within engineering, manufacturing, program management, or supply chain.
• Experience in DMSMS, obsolescence management, risk analysis, and/or component reliability engineering.
• Experience with government standards for DMSMS, obsolescence, or sustainment (e.g., EO 14415, SD-22, SD-26).
• Experience developing and implementing standardized engineering processes for large teams.
• Experience leading cross-functional and ambiguous initiatives.
• Strong communication and collaboration with leadership across teams.

Responsibilities

• Define and deploy a standardized DMSMS escalation process.
• Establish detailed escalation workflows for council submissions and risk reviews.
• Incorporate EO 14415, SD-22, SD-26 into processes and monitoring.
• Coordinate with engineering, supply chain, quality, and programs to reduce variability.
• Collaborate on tool development or selection for the escalation process.
• Lead development and governance of DMSMS policies and practices.
• Support the DMSMS Council chair in governance and decision-making.
• Communicate and track council decisions within execution teams.
