Job summary

Everforth ECS is seeking a DLP (Data Loss Prevention) Engineer II to work remotely, focusing on implementing and maintaining DLP across endpoints, networks, and cloud platforms. You will collaborate with GRC, SOC, and client teams to ensure data protection and compliance, while tuning policies and supporting deployments.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) and 2–5 years in cybersecurity/security engineering with DLP tooling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information security, or related field (will consider experience in lieu of degree).
• 2–5 years of cybersecurity/security engineering experience supporting enterprise DLP and data protection environments.
• Experience with Windows and MacOS in enterprise environments.
• Hands-on configuration, tuning, and operation of DLP tools (e.g., Microsoft Defender/Purview, Trellix DLP, Zscaler, Skyhigh, Netskope).
• Experience deploying agents/extensions across enterprise endpoints.
• Knowledge of data classification, encryption, and DLP concepts.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently across diverse client environments.

Responsibilities

• Implement, configure, and maintain DLP solutions across endpoints, networks, and cloud platforms.
• Support a portfolio of enterprise clients with onboarding and operational DLP coverage.
• Configure and troubleshoot multi-vendor DLP/CASB platforms (Trellix, Purview, Zscaler, Skyhigh, Netskope).
• Develop and tune DLP rules, policies, and workflows to balance detection and false positives.
• Automate policy deployment, alert routing, reporting, and routine admin tasks.
• Support new client deployments, platform enhancements, and short-term projects.
• Provide Tier-2 incident support during cybersecurity events and remediation activities.
• Perform system administration tasks such as upgrades, patching, health monitoring, and agent deployment.
• Maintain engineering documentation and runbooks; stay current on DLP technologies.
