The position requires experience supporting cybersecurity monitoring, incident response, and data protection within a government or large organizational setting, with NIH team responsibilities and 24/7

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience operating Symantec DLP solutions.
• Strong alert management and incident resolution skills.
• Familiarity with DLP policies, workflows, and reporting.
• Ability to analyze security findings and take corrective actions.
• Good communication skills for documenting incident responses.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the Symantec DLP environment per established processes.
• Monitor DLP alerts, identify security incidents, and investigate findings.
• Resolve alerts promptly to prevent data leaks or unauthorized access.
• Document actions and coordinate with security teams for maintenance.
• Maintain system health and ensure compliance with data protection standards.
• Support vulnerability management activities, including scanning and remediation.
• Contribute to continuous monitoring and threat detection efforts aligned with federal cybersecurity standards.
• Provide data analytics support for detection, response, and trend analysis.
