Job summary

Yamaha Motor Corporation, USA is seeking a District Service Manager to provide technical support across geographic areas for Marine products and dealers. The role involves training dealers, coordinating shows, and delivering product information while maintaining customer relationships.

The position is remote with substantial travel, needing strong administrative and service skills, and a proven record in customer service at a dealership or related Yamaha division.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or Marine industry Service certifications.
• Minimum 3-5 years Marine industry Service experience.
• Minimum 2-3 years experience in rigging and maintenance of boat fuel and electrical systems.
• Must be proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Provide counsel to retail customers through visits and perform Call Center Duty as needed.
• Support dealer operations through consistent communication via phone, email, text, and visits.
• Train new Marine dealers in business operations and processes of Yamaha.
• Plan and execute mini clinics and dealer development visits.
• Communicate on service issues via YCRMS, Monthly Reports and Market Information Reports.
• Coordinate Boat Shows and respond to inquiries to improve the dealer network.
• Develop and deliver product information presentations and lead seminars.
• Remote position with approximately 75% travel; may be away up to two weeks.
• Provide technical support for corporate display at events as required.
• Manage a business travel budget and maintain company vehicles and supplies.
