Job summary

Yamaha Motor Corporation, USA seeks a District Service Manager to deliver technical support across Washington, Alaska, Oregon, Idaho, Montana and Wyoming. This remote role requires up to 75% travel and periodic extended trips to service Yamaha marine products and dealers.

Responsibilities include dealer counsel, training, development visits, and managing service issues with strong writing and MS Office skills. A marine technology background and field service experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Marine Technology or equivalent certifications.
• Minimum 3–5 years of Marine industry service experience.
• Minimum 2–3 years in rigging and maintenance of boat fuel and electrical systems.
• Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Provide counsel to retail customers and Yamaha Marine dealers through technical visits and calls.
• Support dealer operations via phone, email, and scheduled visits.
• Train new Marine dealers in Yamaha business operations and processes.
• Plan dealer development visits and review reports for improvements.
• Communicate service issues with timely YCRMS/Reports.
• Collaborate with District Marketing Managers on dealer network events and inquiries.
• Develop and deliver product information presentations and lead seminars.
• Travel up to 75% with remote work flexibility.
