Kodiak Cakes, LLC is seeking a Distributor Sales Manager – UNFI & KeHE to drive profitable sales growth across independent retail networks served by these distributors. This fully remote role owns distributor relationships, sets targets, and leads broker partners alongside Kodiak account managers to expand distribution and improve in-stock performance.

You will develop annual joint business plans, manage trade budgets and promotional calendars, coordinate with Demand Planning and Supply Chain,

Qualifications

• Experience owning distributor or wholesale customer relationships in consumer-packaged goods, preferably with UNFI, KeHE.
• Demonstrated accountability for sales targets, trade budgets, customer business plans, and profitable growth.
• Experience directing broker organizational or external sales partners to achieve distribution and execution results.
• Hands-on experience with distributor promotional calendars, trade spending, billbacks or deductions, and promotional effectiveness analysis.
• Experience with demand forecasting, distributor DC inventory management, and coordination with supply chain partners.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams including Sales, Finance, and Supply Chain.

Responsabilités

• Own UNFI and KeHE headquarters relationships, leading distributor-level strategy and joint initiatives to deliver sales and distribution goals.
• Own distributor sales targets and trade budgets; build account plans and monitor performance against revenue and spending goals.
• Lead broker partners covering independent retailers; set objectives, scorecards, and priorities for distribution gains and retail execution.
• Build and maintain distributor sales forecasts with Demand Planning and Supply Chain; incorporate baseline trends, new items, promotions, and opportunities.
• Own national UNFI and KeHE promotional calendars; manage submissions, execution, trade spend, deductions, and post-event ROI analysis.
• Lead new-item setup and item maintenance at UNFI and KeHE; partner with brokers to convert distributor availability into retailer placements.
• Develop annual joint business plans and review performance by distributor.
• Represent Kodiak at KeHE and UNFI trade shows to strengthen relationships and advance sales priorities.
