Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking a Data Analyst - Disaster Recovery Cadre (Finance) to support FEMA Public Assistance and other disaster recovery initiatives by developing defensible cost estimates for infrastructure restoration and emergency work. The role may involve remote, field, or hybrid assignments depending on client needs.

The candidate will evaluate damaged facilities, define eligible work, and assist with cost validation for public facilities and infrastructure projects across disasters,

Qualifications

2+ years of professional experience in construction estimating, engineering, or related field.
Experience developing cost estimates for infrastructure or facilities projects.
Experience estimating labor, equipment, materials, and construction costs.

Responsibilities

Support FEMA Public Assistance and other disaster recovery programs through project scoping and cost estimating.
Prepare conceptual, parametric, and detailed bottom-up cost estimates.
Review engineering reports, plans, and cost documentation for accuracy.
Provide technical estimating expertise to project managers and applicant representatives.
Maintain project records and supporting documentation per client requirements.
