Qualifications

• Knowledge of general office practices.
• Knowledge of customer service principles and needs assessment.
• Knowledge of curriculum design, teaching and evaluation.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work with staff and the public.
• Ability to organize and multitask.
• Ability to supervise and manage processes.
• Proficient with desktop computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Identify barriers and determine reasonable accommodations for students.
• Collaborate with faculty to coordinate accommodations.
• Maintain timely written records documenting the DRC process.
• Communicate effectively with students regarding accommodations and processes.
• Stay current on best practices in higher education related to disability services.
• Develop programs for disability-related populations and assist with support groups.
