Job summary

Qualifications

• Four years of proven experience in a public vocational rehabilitation and/or workforce development setting serving individuals with disabilities.
• Master’s Degree in rehabilitation, counseling, social work, psychology, or related field with one year of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in the listed fields with two years of relevant experience.
• Associate’s degree or higher with three years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist participants with job search activities, including resume development, interview preparation, and completing employment applications.
• Identify strengths, career goals, abilities, and workplace preferences with individuals with disabilities.
• Develop and maintain relationships with local employers to create competitive employment opportunities.
• Provide job coaching, on-site support, and follow-along services to support successful employment outcomes and long-term job retention.
• Document participant progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with Vocational Rehabilitation and industry standards.
• Educate employers on disability inclusion, workplace accommodations, and ADA compliance.
• Collaborate with Vocational Rehabilitation counselors, community partners, and service providers to ensure quality participant services.
