Qualifications

• Previous disability claims experience is required.
• An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Ability to interpret policy guidelines and healthcare terminology.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.

Responsibilities

• Review physician reports and medical records for long-term disability claims.
• Verify that documentation substantiates physicians’ determinations.
• Interpret policy guidelines and healthcare terms to assess criteria.
• Communicate with clients and reviewers to address outstanding questions.
• Oversee complex long-term disability cases requiring quality review.
• Ensure deliverables meet client deadlines with high quality.
