Job summary

Merkle, part of Dentsu International, is seeking a Director of Value Consulting to quantify business impact of technology, AI, and digital transformations. You will build financial models, ROI analyses, and value realization frameworks to drive executive decisions and close rates.

You will lead client-facing work, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and translate complex data into actionable business narratives. This role supports growth and strategic advisory for enterprise clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required (any major).
• 7+ years in FP&A, corporate finance, strategy/consulting, or digital transformation.
• 5+ years building financial models and analyzing large datasets in Excel or similar tools.
• Experience developing business cases, ROI models, value assessments, or investment analyses.
• Experience translating insights into recommendations and presenting to senior stakeholders; PowerPoint proficiency.
• Comfortable operating in a matrixed organization with wide latitude.
• Able to thrive in ambiguity and define what to measure.

Responsibilities

• Build measurement frameworks linking program adoption to outcomes for clients.
• Quantify financial impact of delayed or unresolved initiatives.
• Lead deliverables related to Business Value projection and transformation engagements.
• Plan and facilitate client discovery via interviews, reviews, surveys, and data analysis.
• Manage consulting delivery including meetings, workshops, and deliverable reviews.
• Support governance reporting with clear financial narrative and value tracking.
• Develop executive presentations and value narratives for client leadership.
• Build comprehensive financial models from scratch in Excel to quantify impact and ROI.
• Leverage market research to identify trends, benchmarks, and best practices.
• Coordinate work sessions with teams and partners to validate recommendations.
• Support business development through proposals and pursuit activities.
