Centene is seeking a leader to oversee provider contracting, network development, and provider relations to shape organizational policies and procedures across the health plan in Pennsylvania. The role requires managing contracting activities, expanding networks, and analyzing costs while ensuring compliance and high performance.

The position supports new market launches, mentors staff, and requires travel across Pennsylvania. This remote role offers flexible arrangements with statewide mobility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration or related field with 7+ years in contracting, network development or provider relations.
• Experience in Medicaid/Medicare contracting and negotiating hospital, large physician groups and ancillary service agreements.
• Prior management experience including hiring, training, assigning work and evaluating staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee provider contracting activities to ensure efficiency and compliance with policies and regulations.
• Implement development activities for recruitment and contracting of provider networks in new and prospective markets and expansions.
• Support new business launches in diverse markets considering market circumstances and resources.
• Perform complex financial analyses to identify cost improvement opportunities and contracting strategies.
• Oversee contracting and network development staff and external consultants involved in provider networks.
• Monitor performance, address process and quality gaps, and communicate network strategy and planning.
• Ability to travel.
