GovCIO is seeking a Director, Program Delivery to oversee a large, complex, federal technology portfolio for the Department of Veterans Affairs. This fully remote role demands leadership of delivery, client engagement, and risk management across 30+ VA programs.

You will guide program and delivery leaders, maintain performance visibility, and drive governance and operating rhythms while collaborating with portfolio operations to scale proven approaches.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in a technical or business-related field is required.
• 10+ years in federal technology delivery, program management, or portfolio leadership.
• 5+ years supporting VA Digital Transformation Center or OIT contexts.
• Experience leading large, geographically distributed teams (50+ staff).
• Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent programs and stakeholder groups.
• Experience shaping LOEs, staffing models, cost estimates, and labor categories for federal customers.
• Background in technology modernization, cloud, cybersecurity, data, AI, or emerging tech.
• Strong executive-level engagement and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsabilidades

• Lead day-to-day delivery across a complex VA portfolio (30+ programs).
• Partner with portfolio operations to align delivery and operations as one team.
• Develop program and delivery leaders with clear accountability and escalation paths.
• Maintain visibility into performance, staffing, milestones, and risks.
• Establish governance, metrics, and operating rhythms across programs.
• Proactively identify and resolve delivery, staffing, quality, and customer risks.
• Build relationships with VA stakeholders and act as senior escalation point.
• Coordinate across programs for shared resources and dependencies.
• Support stand-up and transition of new work into delivery; scale successful approaches.
