Job summary

The Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) seeks a Director of Product Development and Management to lead the enterprise product function within the Improvement Science Hub. You will establish strategy, governance, and tools to move ideas through a repeatable product lifecycle with stakeholder collaboration across regions and functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in product management, business, health care, public health, education, technology, or a related field.
• 7–10 years of progressively responsible experience in product management, product development, portfolio management, or related discipline.
• Experience with continuous improvement, innovation processes, and enterprise product practices.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement IHI’s product development strategy, governance, and processes.
• Lead lifecycle management from concept to retirement for enterprise products.
• Build cross-functional product capability and governance across the organization.
• Lead change management for adoption of the product development system.
