University of British Columbia is seeking a Director of Project Management for the Evidence Development Solutions (EDS) to lead a high-performing team of Clinical Project Managers across a portfolio of trials and real-world studies. You will drive operational excellence, governance, and client communication from a remote, US-friendly setup.

The role requires 10+ years in clinical project management with 5+ years leading people, deep PM methodology, and strong collaboration with cross-functional

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in life/health sciences required.
• At least 10 years of clinical project management in CRO/pharma.
• Minimum 5 years of direct people management.
• Track record delivering trials, PASS, registries, and RWE programs.
• Strong PM methodology, resource planning, risk and contingency planning.
• Experience with Planisware, CTMS, and financial forecasting tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Clinical Project Managers (10–15) and drive performance.
• Own resource allocation, contingency planning, and portfolio health.
• Ensure SOPs, governance, QMS alignment, and project controls.
• Provide executive-ready updates to clients and leaders.
• Collaborate across Data Management, Clinical Operations, Biostatistics, Regulatory.
