Job summary

Centene Corporation is seeking a Director of Clinical Systems Operations (Pharmacy) to oversee the development, implementation, and operation of medical management information systems to meet the needs of Corporate, Health Plan, and Specialty business units.

This remote role supports Eastern or Central hours and will lead a team of 11 with four direct reports, coordinating 50+ clinical program workflows and more than 8 million annual communications to members, providers, and pharmacies.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of applications, project management, or implementation experience.
• Previous management experience including hiring, training, and performance management.
• Direct ownership of clinical applications and clinical systems operations leadership preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee development and functionality of clinical systems and programs to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Provide direction and guidance to various business functions to ensure systems meet business expectations and alignment with standard solutions and processes.
• Evaluate systems and programs performance, recommend improvement opportunities and implement changes.
• Oversee the implementations of new clinical systems and upgrades and modifications of existing clinical systems.
• Oversee the investigation and resolutions of issues of all clinical systems.
• Able to travel up to 30% of the time.
