Job summary

Vida is seeking a Director of Payer Sales in the U.S. to lead strategic partnerships with health plans and PBMs. You will build pipelines, understand Vida’s clinical programs, and position care models to drive revenue growth.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, guide enablement, and manage executive relationships, with travel as needed. This senior role emphasizes strategy, complex deal execution, and a strong customer-centric approach in a fast-growth healthcare startup

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience with strategic partnerships, sales, business development, sales strategy, consulting, or related fields working with large Health Plans and/or PBMs.
• Experience selling or supporting clinical programs, population health solutions, digital health solutions, or pharmacy benefit programs.
• Experience exceeding revenue and growth targets with health plans and/or PBMs.
• Experience in health plans/PBM or employee benefits sales leadership roles.
• Action-oriented leader who thrives in a high-growth environment.
• Proven ability to execute complex deals and manage partnerships in healthcare.
• Strong relationship-builder with cross-functional collaboration.
• Willingness to travel to manage partnerships and territories.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic partnership initiatives and ongoing relationship management for a portfolio of partners.
• Generate new business pipelines with assigned partners through training, webinars, networking, and campaigns.
• Understand Vida’s clinical programs and care models to position solutions to client populations and benefits.
• Lead enablement and sales initiatives with partners and internal sales leadership.
• Analyze partner performance with client success teams.
• Identify upsell opportunities by understanding clients’ business needs.
• Develop and maintain executive-level relationships with decision makers.
• Collaborate with sales, product, clinical, and account management teams to support pursue efforts.
• Support Vida’s value-based reimbursement strategy and fee-for-outcomes model.
• Represent Vida at industry events and sales kick-offs.
• Perform additional duties as needed.
